Chief Executive Officer

Alison is the Chief Executive Officer and is best contacted via email or mobile as she is regularly out and about across Scotland.

Bella Kerr (she/her)

Intergenerational Development Officer

Bella is our Intergenerational Development Officer working across Scotland linking with our networks. She is currently leading on our newly funded project from the Community Knowledge Fund in participatory community based research to form a framework to test how intergenerational relationships can build community cohesion.

Cara MacDowall

Communication and Digital Marketing Officer

Cara is part of the new National Lottery funded project working in partnership with Linking Generations Northern Ireland and Apples and Honey Nightingale (London) which began on Monday 30th January 2023. Cara is one of four new staff to take part in this new initiative working from Monday – Friday and will be raising the profile of the programme, standards and training in intergenerational work.

Elizabeth Morrison (she/her)

Funding Specialist

Elizabeth will be joining our team to lead our funding work from Monday 9th January 2023 taking over from Ross Crawford and will work a Monday – Thursday, 8am – 6pm.

Kamila Aitzhanova

Evaluation Intern

Kamila is a Master’s student in Adult Education for Social Change at the University of Glasgow from Kazakhstan joining GWT as an Evaluation Intern in June 2023

Lorraine George

Learning & Development Officer

Lorraine is our Learning & Development Officer. She is responsible for the development, facilitation and evaluation of GWT’s learning and development programme and for building professional intergenerational learning networks across Scotland.

Lorraine works full time Monday to Friday and can be contacted by mobile or email.

Louisa Turner (she/her)

Intergenerational Development Officer

Margaret is our Finance Officer, working part time on a Tuesday and Thursday

Moira Cuthbertson (she/her)

Administration Officer

Moira is our Administration Officer who is office based and works part time, generally on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

Ruairidh Smith (he/him)

Policy Officer

Ruairidh is our Policy Officer, in charge of influencing the policy and practices of key decision makers and stakeholders, developing impactful responses to consultations and compiling research and practice evidence, all of which will support the development of intergenerational work across Scotland.

He works Part-Time, from Tuesday to Thursday.
