Citadel Arts Group AGM
This is to extend a warm invitation to you to the Citadel Arts Group Annual General Meeting. It’s on Sunday 26th October 15:00 -17:00 in Citadel’s new base in the Leith Dockers Club, 17 Academy Street. The meeting will start in the function room in the Dockers Club on the right as you enter the courtyard/beer garden. After the short business part of the meeting we’ll show clips of the films of our two 2014 Leith Festival shows – ‘Leith at War’ and ‘Aye or No?’ (The children’s drama group play.)
Then we’ll move across the courtyard and upstairs to Citadel’s room in the main building. You can look round our new premises, see some of our costumes on display, and have coffee/tea/light refreshments.
Also attached are details of a free course the WEA is offering on accessing and researching historical costumes and props. The tutor, Sarah Flett, will teach skills relevant to our World War I play, and course members will have the chance to get involved with that project. Please pass this onto anyone you know who might be interested.
