Tackling climate change and intergenerational connections with Cllr Susan Rae and Eugenie Aroutcheff

Thursday 13th January 2022, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Zoom virtual meeting

This session will look at how you can fight climate change intergenerational within your community and how generations can learn from each other when tackling climate change. We will be looking at intergenerational community gardens, environmental campaigning, and community actions. This will build on our work from COP26 and will also show how you can apply for Generations Working Together’s new award on climate change. We will be joined by two speakers Cllr Susan Rae (who is the Scottish Green councillor for Leith Walk, Edinburgh) and Eugenie Aroutcheff (who is a Co-Founder – Community Gardener – Project Coordinator for Grow73, a charity aiming to help people of all ages and abilities to grow their own produce, learn how to lead more sustainable lives and support local biodiversity). There will be an opportunity to ask questions and the event is free and open to all.
