Global Intergenerational Week (#GIW27) is a worldwide annual campaign that champions intergenerational connection through seven themed days of activity. Now in its sixth year, GIW has grown into a truly global movement, reaching across continents and bringing together organisations, communities and individuals committed to strengthening relationships across generations. 

This dynamic, interactive workshop invites practitioners, researchers and advocates to step beyond the idea of GIW as a campaign and recognise it as a powerful global platform to amplify your work, expand your reach and unlock new international partnerships. Through engaging discussion, storytelling and shared reflection, you will explore #GIW26's impact and highlights, uncover the real value of being part of a global movement and identify how GIW can elevate your organisation’s visibility, influence and connections.

You will leave with practical ways to get involved in #GIW27 whether as a supporter, partner or country lead. And crucially, you will play an active role in shaping what comes next.
