EASE (End of Life Skills for Everyone) Taster Session

Tuesday 3rd September 2024, 11:00am - 12:00pm
Online- Zoom link

We’d like to invite you to an EASE Taster Session, held online, on Tuesday 3 September from 11am - 12noon.

EASE (End of Life Aid Skills for Everyone) is a public education course designed to enable ordinary people to be more comfortable and confident supporting family and community members with issues they face during dying, death and bereavement. It is delivered free of charge by two volunteer facilitators, usually in four two-hour sessions delivered across four weeks.

Once people have completed the EASE course they have the opportunity to train to be a volunteer EASE facilitator so they can go on to deliver the course within their own communities.

We are keen to work with different communities to look at how this model would work for them and how we can support local delivery of the course. We’d love to look at how EASE would work with intergenerational groups.

Our hour-long, interactive taster session is designed to provide a few key takeaways while also giving a feel for the content and design of the full course. There is lots of time for discussion and questions.

You can find more information the EASE website and you can download a leaflet HERE

A Zoom link will be sent out to all attendees the day before the session.
