Forth Valley Intergenerational Network

Monday 3rd June 2024, 10:00am - 12:00pm
Wallace Suite, Forthbank Stadium, Stirling Sports Village, FK7 7UJ (big building next to the Peak sports centre) There's free car parking and a park & ride bus that passes for anyone coming from bus/train station.

Louisa Turner (GWT) and Liz Rowlett (Network Coordinator) look forward to meeting and hearing from practitioners and people involved with intergenerational projects in their community. We will be celebrating the diversity of intergenerational practice as it brings benefits to all ages as well as the wider community.

The lovely cake image was shared with us from Forth Bank Care Home, Raploch. If you would like to share or celebrate your intergenerational project, please do get in touch.

You are welcome to join us to learn, discuss and make new contacts especially if you represent a youth group, older peoples group, care home, school, nursery, all age groups, sports or faith groups. Its all about connecting in our community and using an intergenerational lens to explore ideas.

Intergenerational practice is not just a 'nice' thing to do but essential to building sustainable communities.

Spaces are limited so please book your place soon for a fun and interactive 2 hour session exploring:

Ageism and Stereotypes
Community Connections and the NLCF Creating Intergenerational Communities Programme
