Growing Together, workshop will explore how intergenerational activities can be simple and often with no additional resources required, for young and older people to come together, to have fun whilst getting to know each other.

Inspiring Speaker

We welcome Lorraine George who as one of the Tutors on the Generations Working Together’s International Certificate in Intergenerational Learning and International Diploma in Intergenerational Learning courses, who is going to share her experience of intergenerational learning. Lorraine is from Torbay, where they have developed the first co-located intergenerational programme working with Childminders based within a care home and in partnership with Yellow Door, she has captured the planning, preparation and activities that have worked well within this programme.

Who would be most interested in this workshop?

Generations Working Together members from a care home background, nursery and school staff, childminders, toddler groups and other groups who have relationships with care homes or are planning a project with a care home would be most interested in this workshop. This workshop is open to all members.
