GWT Excellence Awards 2025: Top Tips for applicants

The GWT Excellence Awards provide an opportunity not only to celebrate the incredible intergenerational work that goes on in communities across Scotland but also serves to highlight the fact that intergenerational work is not just nice, it’s an essential approach, in reconnecting communities. The awards enable individuals, groups and organisations to reflect on their intergenerational work and celebrate and share their learning and success in building relationships between younger and older generations through good quality intergenerational practice.

During the session Lorraine George our Learning and Development Officer will introduce the categories, explain the assessment criteria and offer tips for the application process giving everyone a clear idea of what they need to consider and how to apply. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

Further details on the Excellence awards for 2025, including guidelines and nomination forms, will be announced on the website and on social media on 30th April.
