Lunch & Learn

Thursday 30th October 2025, 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Online via a Teams link

Intergenerational work is not limited to early years children and residential adults which is a popular misconception, nor is it just a ‘nice thing to do’. Intergenerational work is essential, promoting greater understanding and respect between generations, contributing to building more cohesive communities and is recommended by the World Health Organisation as a means of effectively challenging ageism and reducing its negative impact upon physical and mental health as well as on the economy.

This session will explore how an intergenerational approach can be used in a targeted way across a range of different fields such as education, youth work, adult social care, community development, housing, and public health; evidenced by a growing bank of research.

The session is open to non-GWT members and will be delivered via Teams. Please book your space below and the link will be sent out to you the day before. Please check your spam if the link does not arrive.

We look forward to seeing you.
