Orkney Isles Intergenerational Network Meeting

Our meeting falls on Day 5 of Global Intergenerational Week, which celebrates the power of generations coming together around the theme of Climate. With that in mind, our session will shine a spotlight on intergenerational approaches to climate action, environmental awareness, and community sustainability.

We’d love to hear from you if: 

• You’re involved in a climate‑related project with an intergenerational element 
• Your intergenerational work touches on environmental themes
• You have ideas, stories or challenges around engaging different generations in climate conversations
• You want to explore how intergenerational practice can support Orkney’s wider climate ambitions you're working in the public sector, voluntary sector, education, community development, or environmental work, your insights will help us shape an inspiring and practical conversation.

This will be a collaborative, positive session — a chance to connect, learn from one another, and explore how our island communities can champion climate action across all ages. If you plan to join us, either in Kirkwall or online please do register below.

Our meeting will take place in person however there will also be an option for people to join us via Zoom. We hope this will ensure as many people as possible from across the Isles can take part. Please though do ensure you register your place detailing if you will attend in person or online so we can ensure you have the zoom link.
