Network meetings are hosted across various locations in Argyll and Bute and West Dunbartonshire as the area is widespread geographically, the location varies each time to reach communities. We welcome the inexperienced and new to intergenerational practice and those who are more experienced too. Our networks are a time to connect, share and inspire and be inspired by other likeminded people in your local community.

November 2025 Meeting
It was great to meet all those who came along to the Argyll and Bute and West Dunbartonshire Intergenerational Network Meeting in Clydebank. We enjoyed presentations from Lottie Barker (Intergenerational Dance Company) and from Maeve Dixon (Arts and Heritage West Dunbartonshire), showcasing a wide range of local intergenerational projects. Other local projects were shared including the recent success of the Garelochhead youth group, Route 81, winning the award for the Volunteering Team of the Year at the Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface awards for their intergenerational project with Crosslet House Care Home in Dumbarton. Well done to all! Thanks to Clydebank library for hosting our meeting and to William for giving us all an interesting tour of the recently opened museum which is situated in the basement of the library. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We are looking to recruit a volunteer intergenerational community connector for GWT in the Argyll and Bute and West Dunbartonshire network. If you would like to get more involved in intergenerational working, learn more about the practice and help grow intergenerational relationships in your local area this is the role for you. We are keen to deliver training in the area too, if this is of an interest contact Corrina or telephone 07897572118 for further information.
