Dumfries & Galloway

Welcome to the Dumfries & Galloway Network

Network meetings are a time to connect, share and inspire and be inspired by other likeminded people, meetings are open to those who are new to intergenerational practice as well as those who are more experienced too.

We want to arrange meetings across Dumfries and Galloway as the area is widespread geographically, so if you could host a meeting please get in touch with Moira

There is also opportunities to join the online Scottish wide network once a year, as well as attending a monthly Drop In Clinic for anyone who wants to ask some questions about intergenerational work.

We are looking to host a meeting in February 2026 and are looking for suggestions of where to hold the meeting and what you want to hear about. If you know of any suitable venues or have any topic suggestions, get in touch with Moira

We are also looking to recruit a volunteer intergenerational community connector for GWT in the Dumfries and Galloway network. If you would like to get more involved in intergenerational working, learn more about the practice and help grow intergenerational relationships in your local area this is the role for you.
