May 2026 Meeting
The last meeting of the Fife Network took place on 21 May 2026 at the Fife Brain Health & Dementia Resource Centre. Many thanks to all who attended and to the Centre for being such excellent hosts. A summary of the topics discussed at the meeting can be found below, including further details about Global Intergenerational Week, the Voices Less Heard initiative for free attendance at the Global Intergenerational Congress and events in June to mark the Month of Community.

Our next in‑person network meeting will take place on Thursday 5 November 2026 in East Fife. Precise time and location to be confirmed. If you are in East Fife and would be interested in hosting our next meeting or know of a suitable location, please do get in touch. Likewise, if you are currently supporting an intergenerational project or planning one, we’d love to hear from you. Contact Joshua.

Congratulations to Fife Sports & Leisure Trust, winners of GWT’s Excellence Award – Intergenerational Workplaces. The award was presented at our Inverness Conference on 30th September 2025. You can learn more about their work, along with the achievements of our other award winners and highly commended projects, here.

Further info
Our Network meetings are informal and welcoming sessions which offer an opportunity to connect with others passionate about intergenerational work, share learning and experiences, and hear about developments across the local area. It’s an ideal space to build partnerships, gain practical insights, and spark new ideas to strengthen intergenerational practice in your community. Come along if you are planning, or have planned, an intergenerational project, or simply would like to know more about how to get involved.

GWT is currently recruiting Volunteer Intergenerational Community Connectors across Scotland. We are specifically looking for a volunteer to help support and grow the Fife network. If you’re interested in getting more involved in intergenerational practice and helping strengthen intergenerational connections in your local area, this could be a great opportunity for you. Find out more here.
