Shetland Isles

Welcome to the Shetland Isles Network

After two successful face-to-face network meetings held in May & Sept 2022 the first in over two years, Alison will be back in Lerwick with Denise for another catch up on Wednesday 29th March 2023. We are also delighted to announce that Lorraine George will deliver our one day Intergenerational Training Course for Trainers and Practitioners on Thursday 3rd November 2022 from 10am – 4pm.

If you would like to know more about intergenerational work on the Isles you can speak with Denise Nicolson our volunteer coordinator. Denise works closely with Alison and members from across Shetland to raise awareness of the benefits of intergenerational work and of GWT. Denise can be contacted on the link below.

The agenda will be circulated nearer the time however if you have anything you which to highlight or share at the meeting then please do get in touch.

Don’t forget that GWT have many more events and sessions programmed throughout the year, check out our events page and keep an eye out for our thematic networks, conference and Global Intergenerational Week Campaign all detailed in our electronic newsletter which can be found here.
