A call for volunteers

Together for Change: our climate, our community and our opportunity – a chance for you to engage with the pupils and staff of Jedburgh Grammar Campus to learn and work together to tackle climate change through an exciting new project.

In partnership with Generations Working Together through funding from Scottish Government’s Climate Change Asset Fund, managed by Keep Scotland Beautiful, and Cheviot local area partnership – we invite you to note interest in volunteering to help build a community garden at Jedburgh Grammar Campus.

All ages will collaborate and develop both plans and actions for green recovery and connect through a deep appreciation for our natural world. These shared actions will help build valuable and rewarding relationships with the children and young people from Jedburgh and its surroundings communities.

If you are interested in finding out more and becoming actively involved in supporting this venture, please contact Loreen Pardoe.
We are keen to have older members of our community involved however all ages are welcome.

Suitable for those with interest in community, sustainability / climate emergency, gardening, biodiversity, lifelong learning and building positive relationships with individuals of different age groups. We look forward to sharing this exciting project with you and for you to bring your own enthusiasm as well as your valuable skills and knowledge along.
