Salad on tour!
Cardiff Salad Garden has launched a beautiful and inspiring 6 metre living salad mobile workshop. With the help of a Food for Life Get Togethers small grant, Cardiff Salad Garden commissioned The Bottega Project to create the living salad circle, a mobile structure that consists of several growing walls that contain floor to ceiling salad and edible herbs.

The living walls will be interactive and changeable with workshop participants having the opportunity to harvest plants as well as planting them. Find out more

Go undercover – for children’s food
Soil Association are on the hunt for a team of volunteers to help them sniff out and score the best (and worst!) kids’ menus that the high street has to offer.

You don’t need to be a food expert, just:
• Willing to go undercover to survey two restaurants between the 21st July and 30th August this year
• A parent/guardian (or grandparent) with children under the age of 12
• Living in the UK

Your children’s meals will be covered as compensation and, in return, you’ll join Soil Association’s campaign team to fight for better food on the high street. Get involved
