Have Your Say: Join Age Scotland’s Big Survey and Influence Policy Today!

Generations Working Together is supporting Age Scotland’s Big Survey, which explores a range of topics affecting people over 50 living in Scotland. The survey aims to give a voice to older people and to help influence policy makers and the media.

The survey covers issues such as health and wellbeing, housing, transport, communities, ageism, and representation of older people. It asks respondents whether they feel financially squeezed by bills or if they have had to cut back spending in any areas to make ends meet. The survey also asks what the top priority for older people should be for Scotland’s new First Minister and if older people feel valued for their contribution to society.

Back in 2021, The Big Survey received over 3,500 responses. The survey was the largest of its kind in Scotland, and its results helped to influence policy makers.

However, since then, household bills have soared, finances are under more pressure than ever before, waiting lists for health and social care services remain too long, and people have become lonelier. Therefore, Age Scotland is calling for more respondents to have their say on these and other issues. Respond today

Respondents also have the chance to win one of ten £50 vouchers for filling out the survey.
