NEW updated CPD accredited Intergenerational Training Course

Since 2007 we’ve been delivering Intergenerational training throughout Scotland, exploring how to get the most from bringing generations together within projects, organisations, groups and communities. We’ve recently updated one of our most popular courses, Intergenerational Training for Trainers & Practitioners, and it’s now available across Scotland.

We run regular training sessions across our networks but we’re able to offer additional sessions where there is demand. If you think there may be interest in your own work place, organisation or community then GET IN TOUCH to find out more and discuss potential dates.

We don’t make a profit from running the course and consequently offer it at a rate that allows individuals and very small organisations to take part:

  • £50 for GWT members/concessions (you can become a member of GWT for FREE here)
  • £75 non-member*
  • ONE FREE PLACE for host organisations
  • CPD accredited course
  • Certificate of completion
  • Lunch, tea and coffee included

The course includes looking at what Intergenerational Practice actually is and the benefits it can have across all generations, as well as its impacts on individuals, work places, organisations, communities and the wider society. We also explore how to evaluate and evidence your work to help with funding, project sustainability and future work.

With careful planning Intergenerational Practice can transform the impact and scope of what organisations of all sizes can do and in a way that aligns with local and national policies and objectives; helping you to transform the work you do and maximise its impact and legacy.

If you’d like to host a session or simply find out more – contact the local Network Development Officer for your area.
