Older Volunteers (50+) for Perth Grammar school
The ‘Connecting Generations’ Intergenerational project in Perth Grammar School is nearing the end of the first phase and is already showing some impressive results.
Volunteers have helped pupils with reading, number work and we are also working on some new areas of initiatives, such as a reflective garden project, an eco-project and an upcycling garden furniture project, which is due to start after the Easter holidays. The school is also working with local nursing homes in the area.
We are now looking to extend this work and are looking for older volunteers aged 50+ to join our team within the school.
