Women to take part in important research...

Iconic Consulting is undertaking research for Royal Society for the Support of Women of Scotland (RSSWS) into the issue of financial hardship among single women aged 50+ in Scotland. The Society provides regular financial support to single women (including widowed, divorced and formally separated) aged 50+ in Scotland who require assistance on the grounds of financial hardship, age or ill-health. The aims of the research are to identify the current and emerging causal factors of poverty among the target group, consider the support already available to them, and identify opportunities that the Society could respond to.

Iconic’s team (Ian Clark, Briege Nugent and Amber Imran) is looking to speak directly to single women over 50+ experiencing financial hardship across Scotland. Taking part will involve an informal, confidential discussion with one of their researchers. The interview will last about 30 minutes and can be undertaken in-person or by telephone at a suitable time. Everyone who takes part will receive a £20 voucher as a small token of appreciation for sharing their time and experiences. If you would like to volunteer or want to know more about the research please contact Ian Clark from Iconic Consulting or call on 0131 627 0070. More details on the interview are available in their guide attached.
