Sharing food across generations

We are pleased to be hosting some Intergenerational network events this year in partnership with the Soil Association and Food for Life Get Togethers
You are invited to take part and we hope that the meetings will inspire you to get involved and find out more about food and how it can be a great way of connecting with others from a different generation, whilst learning new skills and sharing old ones.

We welcome everyone and encourage you to invite people from your local community to come along and find out more about intergenerational work and how it can make a real difference to people by tackling ageism looking at stereotypes, sharing community space and learning about each other through sharing time and talking about food and our environment. In doing so we will be sharing ideas and resources on how to connect generations through food and that could be:

  • Eating Together
  • Preparing food together
  • Cooking together and sharing recipes
  • Planting and sharing or swapping seeds
  • Sharing ideas and connecting

We have face to face events for food for life specific networks in 2022:

Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire network on 24th August book your place here
Greater Renfrewshire & Inverclyde network on 1st September book your place here

And one online food for life event for all networks:
Intergenerational Food Network on 25th October book your place here

We hope that you will find something of interest to bring generations together in your community and connect all ages and have some fun.
