Help enable GWT to continue to guide, support and equip

Help us to continue to share learning and evidence, and to build the confidence and capacity of individuals, community groups, organisations, across all sectors.

Help us to help you and others to do excellent intergenerational work – in your community, in your project or service, in your multi-generational team and workplace. The beauty is in its universal applicability, impact and cost-effectiveness.

Our work has never been more crucial. Enabling different generations to connect more, intergenerational approaches mitigate our age-siloed world, reduce ageism, lessen social isolation and loneliness, and foster resilient, cohesive communities. And those same principles and benefits also apply to the workplace.

A recent statistic for you - from our partnership Creating Intergenerational Communities programme – every £1 invested generated £6.97 of social value.

Donations and Regular Giving

To donate, go to our website. Make a one-off gift. Or, better still, consider giving lasting impact with a regular donation say on a monthly basis - truly invaluable as you’ll help give GWT a steady income stream, letting us plan ahead and make longer term commitments of support.

Invitation to Sponsor

We’re open to exploring sponsorship opportunities that provide mutual benefit. We’re currently inviting sponsors for our latest global event and international campaign.

2026 Global Intergenerational Congress – #GICScot26

This 3-day event, held next year from Tuesday 29 September to Thursday 1 October, in-person in Glasgow and online, will see participants and speakers from across the globe. We are currently consulting with experts and leaders worldwide about ideas and plans. More news soon.

Global Intergenerational Week 2026 – #GIW26

Running from 24 to 30 April each year, GWT coordinates this worldwide campaign. Designed to help strengthen the intergenerational movement worldwide, communities come together to celebrate, learn and connect across generations.

In 2025, 17 countries from 5 continents participated and, for the first time, we welcomed a global sponsor, Bayer AG, whose support helped expand our reach and the campaign’s impact.

We’d love to work with you as a GWT sponsor. Get in touch to discuss how one of our sponsorship deals might work for you – email or call Elizabeth on 07927 550 730.
