VolunteerWiki!

A resource developed by Volunteer Edinburgh with support from partners.

The aim of this resource is to give volunteer managers access to high quality, reliable and up to date information on managing volunteers. Whether you are just starting out involving volunteers or you have been managing volunteers for many years, we aim to cover a wide range of volunteer management issues and give you access to the knowledge that you need. To make life even easier we have example policies and forms which anyone is free to download and use.

Based on the Wikipedia platform, this new tool will enable volunteer managers to provide quality information on involving volunteers in a flexible and evolving way.

Using the ‘wiki’ model gives better flexibility and articles contained within the wiki can be as short or as detailed as needed, links can be made between articles and downloadable resources have been included, with more to follow. This launch really is only the start. Volunteer Edinburgh’s ambition is for this to build into the “go to” place for good advice on involving volunteers.
