We won a Scottish Sensory and Equality award!

On Friday the 15th of March we attended the award ceremony (part of a joint partnership between deafscotland and Disability Equality Scotland) in the Double Tree Hilton Glasgow where we were shortlisted for the outstanding approach to promoting partnership working across all services for people with a sensory loss in Scotland (national organisation).

We were nominated alongside great organisations including Glasgow Women’s Library, Scottish Men’s Sheds Association and Alzheimer Scotland and won the award. It was great to pick this up and to hear about the amazing work done by other organisations and by Disability Equality Scotland. Generations Working Together works closely with the organisations and has had training from them previously.
