Winter Social Wellbeing Fund in Glasgow
Impact Funding Partners is delighted to announce that there will be another Winter Social Wellbeing Fund in Glasgow over the 2023/24 winter period. We will be managing this fund on behalf of Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GHSCP).
The funding has only just been made available, which has resulted in a tight timescale this year. Normally we would prefer for organisations to have a minimum of four weeks to apply, but we are keen that funding can be used in the run up towards the festive period, and not just available to cover activities in the new year. As such, there is a reduced timescale to apply so that we can get decisions out in early December.
We envisage that many of you will already have put plans in place for your winter and festive activities, so we hope that this is a welcomed opportunity to receive funding to benefit the people you support, who are most at risk of isolation during the winter months.
Key criteria
· Your organisation’s annual income in the last year must not exceed £250,000.
· You must have a strong Glasgow presence, with this funding used to support Glasgow residents (aged 16yrs+) only.
· The minimum grant available is £500.
· The maximum grant available is £4,000.
· Organisations can only submit one application.
About this fund
GHSCP has made funding available to local organisations providing services to Glasgow City residents, to enable them to support individuals aged 16 and over who may be isolated.
Priority will be given to organisations working with individuals most at risk of social isolation and loneliness. For example, women, vulnerable young people (16+), older people, carers, minority ethnic people, disabled people, homeless people, lone parents, adults with additional support needs and people with long term health conditions.
The activities funded must be in addition to what you are already delivering, enabling you to reach and support more individuals at risk from social isolation over this period.
