Planning your Intergenerational Project


This course, the third in a series, provides an opportunity for people of all ages to learn more about planning an intergenerational project and enhancing your current practice.

If you are new to the intergenerational field we would encourage you to participate in our introductory course called What is Intergenerational Practice?

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this training course, learners will be able to:

  • Produce a plan for an intergenerational activity or project.
  • Describe what some of the challenges are when connecting different generations.
  • Demonstrate how to interact more skilfully and effectively with younger and older people and describe barriers to engagement.
  • Explain the importance of strong partnerships within intergenerational projects
