Quality Indicator Toolkit Training
If you are interested in, or already developing intergenerational work, why don’t you learn how to use the Creating Intergenerational Communities (CIC) toolkit, which will help you to improve the quality of your intergenerational practice?
This tutor-led 3-hour training session is currently delivered as part of the CIC Quality Improvement Programme and is delivered in response to need. Information about CIC and how to join, can be found here.
Evaluation from the CIC pilot highlighted that for the practitioners that used the toolkit, every £1 invested, generated £6.97 of social value such as increased skills and knowledge, increased physical and mental health, increased wellbeing and improvements in school and in cognitive skills for young and older people.
This training session will help intergenerational practitioners to:
- Reflect upon the quality of their intergenerational practice and assess where they are in terms of best practice
- Recognise and embed indicators of quality intergenerational practice
- Focus on various aspects of their work and measure each element separately through a range of tools
- Identify strengths and areas for improvement with their partners
- Improve the quality of their intergenerational work and increase the benefits for participants, support staff, and the community.
