Active Communities Fund
The Active Communities in the Scottish Highlands—a funding programme for local people wanting to create fairer places to grow, live, work and age.
To find out more groups, communities and individuals are invited to a short funding seminar on the 3rd April at 12noon. The seminar will be held at St. Ninian’s Church Hall, Saltburn Road, Invergordon IV18 0JZ.
Please note the areas eligible for funding are very specific, you should check either the People’s Health Trust website or with Ross-Shire Voluntary Action (tel: 01349 862431) before applying to ensure eligibility.
This fund is specifically for not-for-profit groups with an income of less than £350,000 a year, seeking investment of between £5,000 and £50,000 for projects lasting up to two years. The projects should take place within a small area for a small group of people, such as 20 or 30 streets or a couple of villages.
Ross-Shire Voluntary Action will be able to assist with support and information as you develop your ideas and your application before and after the local information session.
