We will be joined by Sophie Bridger, Scotland’s Country Manager for Eden Project Communities. She loves bringing people together human rights and being outside – in her garden, in the sea and in the mountains.
Eden Project Communities is the communities arm of the Eden Project. We have a vision of a world full of happier and healthier communities where people know one another and neighbourhoods thrive.
Bella Kerr will offer some information about Food for Life Get Togethers growing food, connecting generations through food and sharing ideas in our communities to break down social isolation and loneliness and information about Plant and Share Month.
Buzzing about bees
All about the superstars of biodiversity and food production – bees! How to identify and activities to encourage bee spotting, looking after bees and some fun bee facts.
How to get creative and turn an old welly boot into a pot bursting with fruit! The activity sheet guides organisers through preparation and ensures inclusion for all generations.
This is a re-vamp of an existing resource
Herbs are great for attracting bees, and provide fantastic, sensory activities for community members of all ages. This resources guides groups to plant their own herbs, with bonus activities to get groups talking, tasting and generally enjoying herbs.
