Over three inspiring days, delegates from across the globe will come together to share ideas, learn from innovative practice, explore new research, and strengthen connections across generations. 

We listened. We heard. We acted.

Many of you told us you'd love to be part of the Global Intergenerational Congress 2026 but needed more flexibility. That's why we're delighted to introduce five different ways to take part, making it easier than ever to join the conversation, build connections, and be part of this global gathering.

Here are the 5 ways to get get involved!

Option 1.  Attend both conference days (Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th September) at the University of Strathclyde, Technology and Innovation Centre - Members (£308) Non-members (£358)  Book Here

Option 2.  Attend one day of the conference, either (Tuesday 29th or Wednesday 30th September) - Members (£155) Non-members (£180) Book Here

Join us on Tuesday (29th September) evening, the Lord Provost of Glasgow, Jacqueline McLaren will be hosting us at a Civic Reception in the magnificent Glasgow City Chambers where our guests will be welcomed and entertained by Clanadonia and have a great opportunity to relax, mingle and network.

Option 3.  join one of four Next Level Dialogue workshops on Thursday 1st October from 9am to 12.30pm; addressing Research, Evaluation, Funding or Global Intergenerational Week - Members (£57) Non-members (£70)    To book your place click on the link of your chosen workshop. 

Option 4.  attend the Hootenanny at Citation, on Thursday (1st October) evening where you will meet with Congress delegates and enjoy a 3 course dinner, celebrate the winners of the Excellence Awards 2026 and dance the remainder of the night away at a traditional ceilidh - Member (£122) Non-member (£150) Book Here

We will be using the Whova event app as our main platform for engaging and communicating with delegates , and providing event information.

Prior to the Congress, registered delegates will receive an email with details on downloading the app and creating a profile, allowing them to explore the programme, book onto workshop sessions, connect with other participants, and receive important updates.

During the Congress, Whova will provide access to session schedules, speaker information, venue maps, announcements, and networking opportunities, all in the one place. Attendees will also be able to participate in discussions, share resources, arrange meetings, and receive real-time notifications about any programme changes.

By using Whova, we aim to create a more interactive, connected, and accessible experience for everyone taking part in the Global Intergenerational Congress. 

 

Promote your organisation and work at the Congress

Increase visibility, share your achievements, and engage with delegates by promoting your organisation through a stand at the Information Village Exhibition and/or by having an advertisement in the official Congress Programme.

How to get to Glasgow

But first you need to get to Glasgow, whether by air, sea or train, it's all here and once here, it's easy to get around whether on foot, by bus or subway and there are also so many other Things to Do.

Remember most visitors travelling to the UK need an ETA or a visa. What you need depends on: your nationality and why you’re coming to the UK.
