Scottish Communities Climate Network

The Scottish Communities Climate Network aims to support community-led action in Scotland to address the climate and nature emergency and work for a just, thriving and resilient Scotland.

Watch this video to hear what they do from those already involved.

They offer:

  • Training - Providing bespoke and relevant training, knowledge exchange and a growing resource bank for communities.
  • Events – Sccan believe that having lots of quality conversations about climate change is one of the most effective things we can do to stop it.
  • Stories - from those already imagining and building better futures.
  • Regional networks - SCCAN’s intention has always been to become a network of networks.
  • Spaces - Hosting and support for your organisation’s web page as a part of our friendly network.
  • Funding - Offering small grants to communities and individuals and advising on finding your own funding.

Membership of Scottish Communities Climate Action Network is free and open to all Scottish community groups, other organisations and networks that support community-led climate action and to individuals.

Connecting with SCCAN may encourage you to connect generations to talk about climate change together.
