GWT Highlands & Islands Conference - update

GWT is pleased to confirm that we are able to showcase intergenerational work from the Shetland & Orkney Islands, Ullapool, The Black Isle, Argyll & Bute and possibly the Western Isles.

As well as a few main speakers delegates will be given the opportunity to attend two out of three seminars during the days programme which include:

• Funding seminar – includes presentations from Young Start Fund, Foundation Scotland, Climate Challenge Fund and the Community Initiative Fund from RCOP Highland

• Learning through intergenerational practice – find out the history behind the development of the education resource pack, and hear from two Shetland Island intergenerational projects

• Intergenerational approaches to improving health & well-being – find out the history behind the newly launched health paper which was written in partnership with NHS Health Scotland and hear from two intergenerational projects from Argyll & Bute and Ullapool
