Are you a young person looking for opportunities to make a positive difference in Scotland? Do you or your youth group have an idea that you’d like to see developed further? Do you have the desire to bring about positive change in your local area, but just don’t have the funds to make your dream a reality? We would love to hear from you!

The Truth About Youth Grant Fund aims to provide young people and groups with funding to help them make a positive difference in their community. We’re offering young people and groups up to £1000 worth of funding.

As part of the Truth About Youth project, Young Scot, supported by The Co-operative Foundation, have set up a Grants Fund to help young people develop projects of their own, which look to challenge negative perceptions and promote the positive contributions of Scotland’s young people.

Who is it for?
Funding is available for young people aged 11-26 living in/based in Scotland. Individuals and groups can apply for funding.

What we’re looking for
We are especially keen to fund new projects or new ideas. Examples include; events, production of video/podcasts, intergenerational projects etc.

How to apply
To apply for funding, download and complete the Application Form and return it to us no later than 22nd August 2014. You will hear whether your application has been successful by 1st September 2014. Also – earn Young Scot Reward Points
You will receive 250 points for applying to the Truth About Youth Grants Fund.
Successful applicants will receive a further 1000 points.
