Local Networks: Dunbartonshire
Welcome to the Dunbartonshire Network
GWT is pleased to announce that we have recruited a new Network Coordinator for Dunbartonshire, Anne McIlvain who can be contacted here.
We had hoped to hold our next network meeting at the end of September however we have had to postpone due to unforeseen circumstances. We hope to be able to confirm another date as soon as possible.
Due to funding cuts from the Scottish Government, unfortunately GWT has had to reduce the number of local networks across Scotland from 34 to 22. The good news however is that the funding has been confirmed for the next three years therefore these networks will be safe to grow and develop.
Unfortunately the reduction of networks means that the West and East Dunbartonshire networks will now be joined and will be called Dunbartonshire. We hope to continue to meet 3 times each year however these meetings will be shared across both areas. I realise this can be inconvenient however hope you will still consider being connected and attend whenever possible.
If you need further information please don’t hesitate in contacting Alison Clyde, National Development Manager.
